Dubuque-Based Foundation Marks Grant-Giving Milestone

Grant payments from endowment funds hosted by the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque will top a record $5.3 million in 2025.

Endowment funds are started by individuals, families and nonprofit organizations, and the funds grow over time through charitable donations and investment returns.

Annual grants drawn from the earnings support about 250 nonprofit organizations in a seven-county area.
